Janet Wilson Grizzle, age 57, of Lula, GA passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at her residence, following an extended illness. She was loved by her family and friends. Janet was born August 11, 1962 in Gainesville, GA. She was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Willie “Ruth” Wilson, Lula, GA, and Walter and Reva Gunter, Flowery Branch, GA; sister, Annette Jeanene Wilson, Lula, GA; son, Jonathan Grizzle, Murrayville, GA; and grandson, Tyson Grizzle, Gainesville, GA. She is survived by James Leon “Jr.” Grizzle, Lula, GA; sons, Jeremy (Julie) Grizzle, Gainesville, GA, Matthew Grizzle, Lula, GA; 16 grandchildren from Demorest, Cleveland and Gainesville, GA; mother, Shelia Peebles, Cleveland, GA; father and step mother, Clyde and Linda Wilson, Lula, GA; brother, David (Diane) Wilson, Gainesville, GA; sisters, Tanya (Chuck) Woodard, Lula, GA, Tonya (Scott) Abernathy, Cleveland, GA, Laura (Jon) Phillips, Cumming, GA, Kayla Welch; step brother, Josh (Crystal) Russom, Montgomery, AL; lifetime friend, Claudia Payne Baugh; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Emmaus Baptist Church, 5501 Latty Rd, Lula, GA 30554.
