Nervie Turpin

Nervie Lee Turpin age 90 entered into her heavenly reward on her birthday on Oct. 3, 2019.

Mrs. Turpin was born Oct. 3, 1929 in Maysville to the late Samuel & Hannah Brock Dale. She was retired from Craven’s Pottery and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Turpin.

Survivors include, sons & daughters in law, Ray & Pat Turpin, Roy & Betty Turpin all of Gillsville, Steve & Kathy Turpin of Homer, daughter & son in law, Tina & Dwayne Crocker of Gillsville, brothers, Rev. Marshall Dale, John Dale & Rev. Samuel Dale all of Gillsville, grandchildren, Chad (Tammy) Turpin, Sandy (David) Salyers, Missy (Will) Nix, Russ (Jennifer) Turpin, Chris Turpin, Brandon (Samantha) Crocker, Abby (Mick) Ramsey & Jessica (Jose) Crocker,  14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday Oct. 6, 2019 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Turpin, Rev. Marshall Dale & Rev. Samuel Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Turpin will lie in state from 1:30 pm until the service time.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 Saturday Oct. 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
