William Reed

William “Bill” Reed, age 87, of Cumming, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019.

Mr. Reed was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War. He was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and loved camping, and boating.

William is survived by his wife of 67 years Edna Reed, of Cumming, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law Rhonda and Jeff Turner, of Big Canoe, Georgia; Bill and Cynthia Reed, of North Augusta, South Carolina; sister and brother in-law Julaine and Frank Doerle, of Cedar Point, Illinois; grandchildren Amanda Tate; Bill and Vikki Reed; Tim and Colleen Gunther; Patricia and Jeremy Horab; great grandchildren Billy, Hailey, George, Noah, Daven and grand-dog Zoe.

Visitation will be at McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory, of Cumming, Georgia, Monday, October 7, 2019 from 2 to 4PM with a service following at 4PM in the Chapel. Military honors will be rendered. Inurnment will be 10 AM, Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Golden Rule Hospice, 4080 McGinnis Ferry Road, Ste. 602, Alpharetta, Georgia 30005.
