Inez Shirley Goosby

Mrs. Inez Shirley Goosby was born July 27, 1945, to the late Eva Bailey in Gainesville, GA. She  was married to the late John C. Goosby in Jefferson, GA. She later moved to Apalachicola, Fl. Where she lived for 18 years. Upon returning home, she was employed at an array of different employers. Doing what she loved best, that was helping others. Inez was a dedicated member of Lakewood Baptist Church where she also was employed. Inez was a very devoted and caring friend.

Inez went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 8, 2019. She was at peace along side of her family at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Isaiah Stephens & Eva Mae Bailey. Husband John C. Goosby: daughter Sherrie R. Bailey: 6 brothers, 2 sisters and brother-in-law Roscoe Morris.

Inez leaves to cherish her memories to her two children Sheila G. Clark, and Mary Lynda Goosby. Her brother Charlie B.(Carolyn) Stephens, Leonard (Wilma) Bailey:  sister Janice Bailey- Morris, and Barbara Sue Bailey.

God-Children Melody Mayes, Cedric Niles, and her beloved Tyreako Bailey.

Inez has 10 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with several other relatives and friends.

Inez’s special friends who are also family Rosie M. Glaspers, Rita Morrow, and Ralph Johnson. She loved you very deeply.

 Service will be held at 11 o’clockam Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Lakewood Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6-7 pm Tuesday October 15, 2019 at Wimberly Funeral Home.
