Betty Lucille Edmonds Walker

Betty Lucille Edmonds Walker, age 77 of Gainesville, GA passed away October 14, 2019.  Mrs. Walker was born in Gainesville, GA on January 28, 1942 to the late William and Lucille Edmonds.  After retiring from Northeast Georgia Medical Center she worked for many years at Stan’s Biscuit Shop.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Garnett Leroy Walker Jr.; son, Tony Walker; and brother Bobby Edmonds.

She is survived by her daughter, Marla Walker, Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Cherrie and Bradley Harmson, Deville LA.; daughter in law, Joyce Walker; grandchildren, Terry Shadburn, Carlton Harmson, Verica Walker, Jeromy Harmson; honorary grandson, Ryan “Baba” Hubbard; special cousin, Harald “Little Hon” Edmonds.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Stover officiating.  Interment will be held at New Holland Cemetery.
