Clay Frederick Layton Goudy (Clay)

Clay Frederick Layton Goudy (Clay) was born to the late Fay Layton Goudy and Paul Ralph Goudy on October 13, 1957 in Bayside Wisconsin, and departed this life on October 4, 2019 completing his journey of 62 years.

Clay leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Janie, son Dylan and daughter Hannah. Sister Catherine Ullman (Ed), of Novelty, Ohio, brother Paul Goudy (Maria) of Bayside, Wisconsin and Tom Goudy (Jean) of Pengree Grove, Illinois.  Sister in law JoAnne Schell of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Nieces and Nephews, Jeff Ullman, Jennifer and Chris Wederitch, Lara and Gray Goudy,  Chad and Alex Walker, Nicola and Dana Sweeney and Christina Goudy, Katy and Brandon Schell, and Bill and Jamin Kozak. As well as many friends. 

His love for his family, friends, and enjoyment of life was evident to all who knew him. More than anything he enjoyed watching his children play soccer, snow skiing and family time at the lake and beach and cheering on his beloved GT Yellow Jackets. He had a big heart and loved his family beyond measure.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, October 26, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 44 Academy St., Alpharetta, Ga.

Donations may be made in Clay’s name to any animal shelter.
