Jeffrey Ward Heard

Jeffrey Ward Heard, 42, of Cumming passed away at home surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, October 28, 2019.  Jeffrey was a loving husband, father and son who was larger than life.  He was a fun-loving kid at heart who was always there for everyone.   Jeffrey was a hard, dedicated worker who lived life to the fullest. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Heard, and his sister, Susan Chasidy Heard.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Brannon Heard; daughters, Caroline Elizabeth Heard and Emily Anne Heard; mother, Berlene Heard; brothers, Thomas Allen Heard and Jerry Lee Heard; a sister, Christy Daisy (Larry Douglas) Waters; mother-in-law, Betty June Brannon; nieces and nephews, Nathan Heard, Chloe Heard, Waylon Heard, Grant Waters, Mikey Brannon, Izabella Vickery, Sadee Vickery, Jackson Brannon, Avery Brannon and Ellie Brannon.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, at 1:00 p.m. at Cumming Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Welby, Rev. Michael Spurr, Rev. Shaun Wright and Rev. Charles Shadburn officiating.  Interment will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
