Matty Kay Thomas

Mrs. Matty Kay Thomas, 61, of Gainesville passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 st Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Born on February 17, 1958 in Gary, IN., she was the daughter of the late Ed and Florence June Nye Bromley. She was a beloved wife, mother, grand-mother and sister and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Bromley and Louie Bromley.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, Jerry Thomas of Gainesville; sons, Chris Kidd (Sierra Walker) of Gainesville, Jon Thomas (Roxann) of Gainesville; brothers, David Bromley of Gainesville, Neil Bromley of Tampa, FL; sisters, Leigh Bromley of OR, Joy Bromley of TN; grandchildren, Joselyn Lopez, Jaylyn Walker, Lanaya Walker, April Kidd, mother of, Laura Cantrell (Cody), Christopher “Junior” Kidd, Michael Kidd, Chelsea Kidd, and a number of other relatives.
