Luis Rivera

Luis Rivera, 81, of Cumming passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019.  Also known as GRANDPA, he had more energy than most!  Sit out a dance or miss a party, not Luis.  His positive energy and vibe attracted so many people , and let’s not mention all the stories he had.  I am certain that we are all part of one of his stories.  Always happy and go-lucky, Luis was a hardworking, disciplined man.  He was fun-loving and forever full of life.    Above all, he loved his family.
GRANDPA, thanks for taking time out and being a big part of all of us.  
 
Survivors include his three “prized possessions”, his daughter and son-in-law, Glenda Rivera and Able Santiago of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Luis Carlos and Christine Rivera of Rock Tavern, NY and Ricardo Manuel and Kathleen) Rivera of Manorville, NY; grandchildren, Damian, Christopher, Caitlyn, Samuel, Sabrina, Sophia, Cassandra and Lauren; great grandchildren, Mia, Jake and Damian, Jr.; a brother, Miguel of Kentucky; a sister, Maria Rivera of Stony Point, NY; Mother-In-Law, Maria Figueroa of Haverstraw, NY and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  He will be carried to Haverstraw, NY for a funeral mass and interment services.
