Helen Irene Loggins Reed

Helen Irene Loggins Reed, 90 of Gainesville passed away Thursday November 14, 2019.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Reed was the daughter of the late Charlie R. and Helen Johnson Loggins.  She was a graduate of Sardis High School and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Melody Reed, Gainesville; grandson and grandaughter-in-law, Bryan and Buffy Gilleland, Tifton; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Elysha and Brian Hunter, Gainesville; great grandchildren, Erin Gilleland, Tifton; Bailey Burnett, Columbia, SC; Brock Hunter, Gainesville.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reed is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Reed and son, James Michael "Mike" Reed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday November 18, 2019 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. David Matthews and Rev. Steve Baker will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Redwine United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday November 17 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
