Fred M. Turpin

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Mr. Fred M. Turpin 83 of Commerce who passed away Thursday Nov. 14, 2019.  He was the son of the late Thomas Dennard and Sara Melinnie Waters Turpin.  Mr. Turpin retired from the Social Security Administration and was a veteran of the United States Army.  Survivors include his wife Barbara Ann Rickley Turpin of the home, 3 sons Leslie ( Sharon) Turpin of  Gainesville, Kent ( Anna) Turpin of Jefferson  and bart ( Danielle) Turping of Commerce, Ga.  2 daughters Ester ( Standley) Houston of Jefferson, and Carla ( Gene ) Coleman of Hoschton,Ga.  17 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be Sunday at 4 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with burial in the Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 2 PM until the funeral hour.
