Mr. Marion Cecil Brooks, age 74, of Nicholson, GA died Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Brooks was born in Center to the late Alvy and Mattie Ruth Mathews Brooks. He was retired from Athens Water Pollution Control Center.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his sons, Jeff Brooks (Susan), Tim Brooks and Randy Brooks (Angela) all of Center and Turner Brooks of Atlanta; brother, Donald Brooks of Center; grandchildren, Ian Brooks, Claire Brooks, Ansley Robinson, Carly Mize, Walker Brooks, Athena Brooks, Elizabeth Hays and Brandon Brooks; great-grandchildren, John Hays III and Harper Hays.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, November 18 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Healan officiating. Interment will follow in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4 to 6 PM.
