Joshua Alton "Josh" Smith

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Joshua Alton “Josh” Smith, age 27 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, November 22, 2019.  Mr. Smith was born in Winder, Georgia a son of Eddie Smith of Commerce and Tammy Hayes of Gainesville.  Mr. Smith was an Arborist with Campbell Tree Service and was of the Christian Faith.  Mr. Smith is preceded by grandparents, Doyle and Darlene Smith, Larry Chambers, and Phil Hayes, along with uncle Jeff Smith, and Step-Dad, Joe Martin.

Survivors include his father and step-mother,  Eddie Smith and his wife Terry of Commerce, mother, Tammy Hayes of Gainesville.  Fiance, Summer Gore of Commerce, daughter, Brooklynn Smith of Commerce.  Brothers, Wesley Smith of Alabama, Kekoa Ito and his wife Emma of Smyrna, Kamanu Ito and his wife Ashley of Columbus, A.J. Smith of Commerce, step brother, Joseph Martin of Gainesville.  Grandmothers, Mable Hayes of Alabama, and Dianne Chambers of Dallas, Georgia.  Nephew Easton Cook of Commerce, nieces, Minxie Neal-Smith of Douglasville, and Lyla Ito of Smyrna, along with several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Stacey Aldridge officiating with burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1832 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, Georgia.  The family will receive friends, 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the funeral home.
