Myrtice Nell Strickland

Myrtice Nell Strickland, age 81, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019. She was born in 1938, to the late Hubert and Celia Ridings. She was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Cherokee County. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Strickland; and sister, Carolyn Bates.

She is survived by her children, Stan (Valerie) Strickland, and Matthew (Kristin) Strickland; siblings, Jerry K. (Lynda) Ridings, Michael (Judy) Ridings, and Beth (David) Byess; and devoted companion, Toby Stickland.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Friday, November 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. David Byess and Rev. Michael Ridings officiating. Inurnment will follow at Liberty Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
