Cecil Calvin Warren

Mr. Cecil Calvin Warren of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the age of 95 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness.  A funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 1 PM at Strickland’s Funeral Home in Clermont, Ga.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Pastor Jamie Smith will officiate.  Interment will follow at Harmony Baptist Church, Dawsonville, Ga.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Warren was born April 30, 1924, to Willie Iris Loggins Warren and Emmitt Marion Warren in Dawsonville, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Broncile Wilson Warren, Sisters: Patsy Jo Johnson and Christine Grogan, Brother:  Roger Warren. 

Mr. Warren is survived by his Daughter and Son-In-Law, Janice and Bill Lohnas of Clermont, Grandchildren: Lisa and Ronnie Edge; Newnan, Chris and Rhonda Pittman; Clermont, Great Grandchildren: Ashley and Andy Carpenter, Dylan Pittman, Kendall Pittman; Clermont, Alyssa and Stephen Edwards; Dawsonville, Derrick and Taylor Pittman; Murrayville, Jeremy and Alecia Edge; Baldwin, 11 Great Great Grandchildren.  Brother: Marion and Florence Warren of San Diego, California, Sister-In-Law: Betty Abbott of Dawsonville, Special Nephew, Ron Warren of Gainesville.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
