“A Time to Be Born”

Mr. Grady Neal was ushered into life on March12, 1956 to the union of Mr. & Mrs. Roosevelt and Lula Neal of Homer, Ga.

“A Time To Love”

Grady was united in marriage to Denise Greene onMay 25, 1996. To this union was born one son, Raymond Micah Neal.

“A Time To Every Purpose Under Heaven”

Grady joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Homer, Georgia at an early age. He served the church faithfully in many roles. He served as an usher for many years, Sunday School Superintendent, and Deacon. Grady loved his church and church family and was very dedicated to helping the church grow and share the love of God. At Bethlehem Grady often led devotion and loved to sing and was very aware of always” starting things on time.” He often stated “God’s work should be done decently and in order.” Grady was an employee of Lumite Industries for 44 years, where he made many friends. Grady was a husband, dad, brother, and friend, but most of all he was a dedicated servant of God. 

“A Time To Die”

Grady departed this earthly life for his eternal resting place on December 17, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Grady was preceded in death by his father the late Mr. Roosevelt Neal.

“A Time To Mourn”

Grady leaves to cherish his many fond memories his beloved wife of 23 years, Mrs. Denise Neal and his beloved son Mr. Raymond Neal both of Dahlonega, GA His beloved mother, Mrs. Lula Neal (Homer, GA), two brothers, Mr. Buford Neal (Homer, GA) Mr. Kenneth(Ethelene)Neal of Commerce, GA, two sisters Ms. Mary Ann Neal (Homer, GA) and Mrs. Eleaner( A.D.) Smith of Homer, GA, a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Grady was greatly loved and will be missed by the many lives he touched. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 176 Bellamy Road, Homer, GA at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Wimberly Funeral Home from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family will receive friends between the hours of 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
