Robert Nathanial Clark

Robert (Bob) Nathanial Clark, 93, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday December 21, 2019.  Bob was born August 24, 1926 in Bessemer, AL. He was the son of the late Herman and Effie Parks Clark.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Peck Clark, sisters; Margie (Young) Peck, Thelma (Charles) DeLong and Kate (Bill) Clark, brothers; H.A.(Ruth) Clark and Jack Clark, brother-in-law; Harold Pendley.

He is survived by his daughter, Robin (Mike) Bright of Gainesville, son; Todd (Angela) Clark of Gainesville, grandchildren; Shelley (Jeff) Young of North Augusta, S.C., and Logan, Ellie and Landon Clark of Gainesville, great-grandchildren; Louis Young of North Augusta, S.C., sister; Willie Sue Pendley of Gainesville, brothers; Larry “Pud” (Bennie) Clark, Charlie Clark,  Tom Clark of Murrayville and Wayne (Joyce) Clark of Gainesville, several nieces and nephews. Special friend, Jane Neese.

Mr. Clark served his country in the U.S. Army.  He loved raising chickens, cattle and farming.  He was a retiree of Johnson & Johnson Chicopee and Avery Labels.  Bob was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Ricky Stone and Rev. Phillip Gillespie will officiate.  Interment will following at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday December 23, from 5-8 p.m. at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home.
