Hazel Mae Pelfrey Swain, age 81 of Danielsville, GA passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at Athens Regional Hospital.
Born on May 16, 1938 in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of the late Carter Tate and Eva Mae Pelfrey. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grand babies. They were her pride and joy. She was an avid bingo player and never met a stranger. She was of the Christian faith and was proceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Swain, Sr. and sisters Lucile and Adilee.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford and Judy Swain, Clearwater, FL, Billy and Connie Swain, Danielsville, GA; sister, Francis and Bobby Gearing, Commerce, GA; three grandkids, Brandy and Heath West, Demorest, GA, Brian Swain, Danielsville, GA, Bradley and Melissa Swain, Commerce, GA; and nine great grand babies.
A service will be held at The Anchor Church, 403 Drake Woods Rd., Danielsville, GA 30633 on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at 2 PM.
Contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
