Harold Mitchell Gerrin, age 83, of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
Mr. Gerrin was born on August 29, 1936 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Robert Bayrd and Ruby Mary Elrod Gerrin. Mr. Gerrin was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. Gerrin was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Level Grove Baptist Church and the Hollingsworth Masonic Lodge #355. Harold was owner and operator of Gerrin Construction for 50 years.
Survivors include his sons, Steve Gerrin, of Baldwin; Roger Gerrin, of Baldwin; Bradley Gerrin, of Baldwin; and grandson, Brice Gerrin, of Demorest.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Navy, Grant Reeves V.F.W. Post 7720, American Legion #84, and the Rabun DAV Post #15.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, Monday, January 27, 2020 at the funeral home.
