Maria Mendez-De Zavala

Maria Mendez-De Zavala, 91, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Juan Romero officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence on Friday and Saturday.

She was born on January 10, 1929 in El Salvador. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. De Zavala is preceded in death by Tito Mendez, Julia Mendez, Felipe Mendez, Jerenimo Mendez and Emelida Mendez.

Mrs. De Zaval is survived by her son, Cornelio Mendez of Texas; daughters, Maria Almendares, Juanita Mendez and Berta Mendez all of Gainesville.
