James W. Hollis

Mr. James W. Hollis, age 90, of Gainesville, GA passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020. 

He spent most of his adult life in Gainesville and served his country in the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a pharmacist for 47 years at Riverside Pharmacy in Gainesville and a member of Church of Christ in Gainesville. 

James was the son of the late Ernest and Sarah Westbrook Hollis, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Hollis.

He is survived by sister, Stella Morgan; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Norma Hollis, and Harold and Sue Hollis; and sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Robert Bearden. Several nieces and nephews, many friends, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for James are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Sewell Hall and Brownie Reaves will officiate.

Interment will follow in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
