Irving Lane Turpin

Mr. Irving Lane Turpin, age 63 of Buena Vista Extension, Eastanollee passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at his residence.

A son of the late Jason and Juanita Shedd Turpin, he was born January 19, 1957 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Marion, North Carolina for 20 years and returned to Toccoa where he lived the rest of his life. He was retired from Stephens County Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Cash Turpin in 2017 and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Mary Cash.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Fan of Irvine, California; grandson, Andrew Fan of Irvine, California; brother, Philip Turpin of Toccoa; two sisters, Glenda Bragg of Toccoa and Martha Williamson of Knoxville, Tennessee; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 3, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Wayne Edwards officiating.

Interment will follow in the Roselane Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Irving Lane Turpin.
