Franklin Louis Heddings

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Franklin Louis Heddings, age 83 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, February 13, 2020.  Mr. Heddings was born in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Bernard and Vera Power Heddings, was of the Baptist Faith, retired from Lucent Technology, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.   In addition to his parents, Mr. Heddings is preceded by brothers, Bernard, Allen”Buddy”, Kenny and Stanley Heddings. 

Survivors include his wife, Linda Keller Heddings of Jefferson, one son, Jeffrey Louis Heddings, and one daughter, Sandra Lea Heddings Katulka, and her husband, Gregory.  Three grandchildren, Christian, Nicholas, and Carly Katulka also survive.

Memorial services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 16, 2020 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Bo Bowen officiating.  The family will receive friends 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
