Walt Mason, Sr.

Heaven gained another angel, Walt Mason, Sr. passed away on Feb. 9th with his wife, MaryAnn, of 55 years by his side.  He was such an amazing man and at times dare I say ...... superhero worthy.  Walt touched the lives of everyone he met. Whether he was talking about his love for his family, turtles, the aquarium, fishing or helping others, you couldn't help but be inspired by his passion. 

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Feb. 23rd at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Visiting hours will be held from 1-2 with the Memorial service at 2 o’clock.

Love, food, hugs and stories will be at MaryAnn and Walt’s house after.

In lieu of flowers, the family is  asking for donations to be made in Walt's memory to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island at https://shopjekyllisland.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/donation or to the Cumming First United Methodist Church Steeple Fund.
