Barbara Davison

Barbara Talley Davison, 89, of Dawsonville, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Owens and Chaplain Frank Palacios will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on January 4, 1931 in Roanoke, AL, she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys Hester Talley. Mrs. Davison was retired from General Motors where she worked in the Insurance department. She attended New Life Church of God.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davison is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Richard Davison.

Mrs. Davison is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Ruth Anne and William Jennings of Dawsonville, Lynn Davison Burke and S. Lynn Burke of Gainesville; grandson and wife, Eric and Deana Wilbanks; granddaughters and husbands, Dawn Burke and Tad Porter. Heather Wilbanks Glass and CW2 Mark Glass; grandson, Jeremy Lynn Burke; grandson and wife, Justin and Cassie Jennings; granddaughter, Ashleigh Jennings;  8 great grandchildren; sister and husband, Margaret T and Benny Harris of Cleveland; nieces and husbands, Cindy and Larry Abney of Ponce de Leon, FL, Cindi and Sam Farmer of Norton, VA.
