Dwayne Harlan Garmon, Sr

Mr. Dwayne Harlan Garmon, Sr., age 77 of Talmadge Drive, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Habersham County Medical Center.

A son of the late Floyd and Nola McEntyre Garmon, he was born January 2, 1943 in White County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Habersham County. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Royal Ten Cate in Cornelia and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Patsy Nimmons Garmon; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bronson Dickerson of Eastanollee; four sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne H. Garmon, Jr. and wife Jamie of Greenville, South Carolina, David and Jennifer Fox of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, Chris and Debbi Fox of North Pole, Alaska and Rick and Maria Bell of Marietta, Georgia; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnnie and Eva Garmon of Blairsville, Bill and Angie Garmon of Eastanollee and Ronnie and Joy Garmon of Elberton.

The family will have a memorial service on Monday, February 24, 2020. 10 O’clock a.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
