Geneva B. Truelove

Mrs. Geneva B. Truelove, age 94, of Dahlonega passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Mrs. Truelove was born in Pickens County on October 14, 1925.  She is preceded in death by her husband Benny Truelove, mother Mary Glass Wright, four brothers and two sisters.  Mrs. Truelove was a loving mother and grandmother.  Having become a widow at a young age, Mrs. Truelove raised her seven boys with love and hard work.  She loved to shop with her oldest sister, collect dolls, and spend time with her family. 

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Mitchell and Brenda Truelove, Gainesville, Marcus Truelove, Dahlonega, Roger and Harriett Truelove, Cleveland, David Michael Truelove, Arizona, Tony Truelove, Savannah, and Paul Truelove, Dawsonville; daughter-in-law Frances Sosebee, Dahlonega; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Historic Dawsonville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
