James Larry Baxter

James Larry Baxter, age 71 of Hull, GA passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at his residence.
 
Born on January 25, 1949 in Commerce, GA, Mr. Baxter was the son of the late Ellis David Henry Rubin and Lois Bennett Baxter. He was retired from West Clox, a member of Bible Way Church of God, a US Army Veteran, and was preceded in death by a brother, Rogers Baxter.
 
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Strickland Baxter, of the residence; sons, Roger Baxter, Hull, Ellis Baxter, Ellijay; brothers, Billy Baxter, Wayne Baxter, Mike Baxter; sister, Bobby Jean Cowart; and three grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tuesday at Bible Way, Commerce, GA with the Rev. Carrol Griffin and Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Ila Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
