Hilda Celia Petotte Davis

Mrs. Hilda Celia Petotte Davis, 87, of Gillsville passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. John Kinsey will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Born on August 28, 1932 in Parishville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Petotte. She was retired from Wrigley’s and was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Davis; sister, Pauline Planty and son in law, Barry Horton.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter and son in law, Paula Davis and Billy Heaton of Gillsville; daughter, Donna Horton of Greenville, SC; son, Eddie Davis of Greenville, SC; grandson and wife, Randy and Tommie Jean Kimbrell of Gillsville; grandchildren, Jessica Horton, Brandon Horton; great grandchildren, Trystann, Kalub, and Aiken Kimbell; nephew, Kenneth Planty; niece, Laura Bacon and a number of other relatives.
