Verdina (Roxanne) Cantrell Reynolds

Verdina (Roxanne) Cantrell Reynolds, 79, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an unexpected illness.
 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Springway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 16, 1941 in Clarkesville, GA she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Carrie Ballew Cantrell. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds is preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Jarrard and 14 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her husband, Rogers Reynolds of Gainesville; daughter, Slenia Reynolds of Gainesville; daughters and sons in law, Shelby and Raymond Woody of Lula, Sylvia and Johnny Flanagan of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Randy and Ashley Reynolds of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
