Warriors still looking for first win

CLEVELAND - White County narrowly missed getting its first win of the season last week in a 23-20 loss to Pickens County.

The Warriors (0-5, 0-5 in Region 7-AAA) will travel to Fannin County Friday night looking to end their losing streak.

The Rebels (2-3, 2-3) probably won't be in a good mood after losing to Flowery Branch last week, their second straight loss.

In other Region 7-AAA action, North Hall (4-0, 4-0) will travel to Gainesville (4-0, 4-0) in a battle of unbeatens for outright possession first place in the region.

Flowery Branch (2-3, 2-3) will play at Johnson (4-1, 4-1) in a south Hall County battle. Johnson is coming off a tough loss to Gainesville.

East Hall (3-2, 3-2) will travel to Pickens (2-3, 2-3). Both teams have won two straight games after slow starts.

Gilmer (2-2, 2-2) will play host to Chestatee (0-4, 0-4) who has now lost 13 straight games since winning the first game ever played in school history in the 2002 oepner.

West Hall (3-3, 3-3) is off this week.
