Temps dip into the teens

UNDATED - Temperatures were at their coldest of the season in northeast Georgia this morning - ranging from the low teens in the mountains to around 20 in most other places.

Just before 6:00, the lowest apparent reading was 13 in Blairsville. It was 15 in Ellijay and 17 in a number of other palces, including Clayton and Dawsonville. It was 20 in Alto, Clarkesville, Gainesville and Dahlonega.

Wind chills were around 10 in many places with some single-digits and even below-zero readings in some places at times.

Highs Wedneday are only expected to reach into the 30s and 40s in the area with lows in the teens again tonight.
