Ga. voter turnout increases more than 20% over 2010 election

ATLANTA - With nearly one million early votes cast, Georgia's voter turnout is up almost 21-percent over the 2010 mid-term election, according to the Secretary of State's office.<br />

Number of ballots voted in person: 846,118<br />
Number of mail-in ballots returned: 93,018<br />
Number of mail-in ballots outstanding: 32,223<br />

Fulton: 94,944<br />
