Developer seeks rezoning for Norcross movie studio

NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) A developer is seeking permission to build an estimated $1 billion movie studio campus in Norcross. <br />

Jacoby Development will seek approval from county officials Nov. 4 to rezone the proposed campus from a heavy industrial area to mixed-used development. <br />
<br />
The Gwinnett Daily Post reports the proposed facility, called the Atlanta Media Campus, would feature a movie studio, film school, residential area, offices, hotels and retail shops. <br />
