Grand jury to hear case of botched Habersham Co. drug raid

CLARKESVILLE - A Habersham County grand jury is scheduled to hear evidence Monday about a drug raid that left a toddler with serious injuries.<br /> <br /> Bou-Bou Phonesavanh was sleeping in a playpen in the living room of a Cornelia house when Habersham County Sheriff's Office deputies tossed a flash-bang grenade inside. The device landed in the playpen with the toddler. He was severely burned on his face and chest. <br /> <br /> The grand jury will be deciding if any charges should be brought against the officers involved. <br />
