A crash involving six vehicles in Gwinnett County caused all five lanes of I-85 to close Wednesday just before 7 a.m.
The Georgia State Patrol reported the accident occurred on I-85 southbound at Ga. 316. During an investigation of the scene, authorities discovered the incident involved two separate crashes between the six vehicles.
Four were transported to Northside Gwinnett in Lawrenceville. The roadway was re-opened at 7:42 p.m.
