PEACHTREE CITY - The National Weather Service says humidity in some northeast Georgia counties will drop to around 20-percent this afternoon, and that means an increased danger for fire hazards.
Rabun, Habersham, Stephens, Franklin, Hart and Elbert counties are covered by the special weather statement, which was issued at noon and remains in effect through the afternoon.
Forecasters advise if you think you need to burn something outdoors Friday, you need to check with local permitting authorities to make sure it's okay.
