Gwinnett school board visits schools for district meetings

LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County school board members are ready to hit the road with their annual series of board meetings around the county.

Each spring the Board travels to each school board member's district for a business meeting. In addition, Superitendent J. Alvin Wilbanks delivers a state of the school district address at all five meetings.

The schedule for the spring meetings is as follows, according to the Gwinnett County School District web site:


Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 7:00 p.m.
District V --- Hosted by District V Board member Louise Radloff at Meadowcreek High School

District V includes the following schools: Beaver Ridge Elementary; Bethesda Elementary; Chesney Elementary; Corley Elementary; Ferguson Elementary; Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology; Hopkins Elementary; Kanoheda Elementary; Maxwell High School of Technology; Meadowcreek Elementary; Meadowcreek High; Minor Elementary; Norcross Elementary; Radloff Middle; Rockbridge Elementary; Stripling Elementary; Summerour Middle; and Sweetwater Middle.
Interpretation will be available in Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese.


Thursday, March 26, 2015, 7:00 p.m.
District IV--- Hosted by District IV Board member and 2015 Vice Chairman Dr. Robert McClure at Berkmar High School

District IV includes the following schools: Anderson-Livsey Elementary; Annistown Elementary; Arcado Elementary; Berkmar High; Berkmar Middle; Britt Elementary; Brookwood Elementary; Brookwood High; Camp Creek Elementary; Centerville Elementary; Craig Elementary; Five Forks Middle; Gwin Oaks Elementary; Head Elementary; Knight Elementary; Lilburn Elementary; Lilburn Middle; Mountain Park Elementary; Nesbit Elementary; Parkview High; Partee Elementary; Pharr Elementary; Shiloh Elementary; Shiloh High; Shiloh Middle; Snellville Middle; South Gwinnett High; and Trickum Middle.
Interpretation will be available in Spanish and Vietnamese.

District II includes the following schools: Alford Elementary; Benefield Elementary; Central Gwinnett High; Collins Hill High; Creekland Middle; Duncan Creek Elementary; GIVE Center East; Gwinnett County Online Campus; Harmony Elementary; Ivy Creek Elementary; Jenkins Elementary; Jones Middle; Lanier High; Mill Creek High; Moore Middle; Mountain View High; Osborne Middle; Patrick Elementary; Phoenix High; Puckett's Mill Elementary; Roberts Elementary; Rock Springs Elementary; Simonton Elementary; Sugar Hill Elementary; Suwanee Elementary; Taylor Elementary; Twin Rivers Middle; Walnut Grove Elementary; and Woodward Mill Elementary.

District III includes the following schools: Berkeley Lake Elementary; Buice School; Burnette Elementary; Chattahoochee Elementary; Duluth High; Duluth Middle; GIVE Center West; Harris Elementary; Hull Middle; Jackson Elementary; Lanier Middle; Level Creek Elementary; Mason Elementary; McKendree Elementary; Monarch School; New Life Academy of Excellence; Norcross High; North Gwinnett High; North Gwinnett Middle; North Metro Academy of Performing Arts; Northbrook Middle; Parsons Elementary; Peachtree Elementary; Peachtree Ridge High; Pinckneyville Middle; Riverside Elementary; Simpson Elementary; Sycamore Elementary; and White Oak Elementary.
Interpretation will be available in Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese.


The Gwinnett County School District is the largest in the state.
