CUMMING — Forsyth County authorities say a man was killed when he was crushed underneath a golf cart Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. at a residence off Bethel Road in the northern end of the county.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Robin Regan said the golf cart plunged off a 10-foot embankment and the victim was trapped underneath. The man died at the scene.
Regan said investigators believe the death was accidental and they have no reason to believe any foul play was involved.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
