By Associated Press

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) Authorities are investigating after two sexual assaults were reported at Kennesaw State University's main campus during the first week of fall classes.

Police say a female student reported being raped late Saturday or early Sunday in an on-campus apartment complex at the University Village.

University police said in an alert to students that the woman identified a fellow student as a suspect in that case.

In a separate case, another female student reported being groped by a male on Aug. 20 at the Austin Residence Complex area.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Kennesaw State's fall semester classes began Aug. 17.
