Vehicle lands in creek as a result of slick road conditions

By Dean Dyer WRWH Radio

CLEVELAND -- Slick road conditions are believed to be responsible for a two-vehicle wreck west of Cleveland around 4 p.m. Friday.

Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said one of the vehicles involved ended up overturned in a creek.

The wreck occurred on West Kytle Street (Ga. 115) near Campbell Street.

One driver was injured and transported to the hospital by White County Emergency Medical Services. The other driver refused treatment or transport by medical personnel.

The roadway was shut down for about 90 minutes and traffic was diverted while the vehicle was removed from the creek.
