Annual literary festival set for March in historic Dahlonega

The 12th Annual Dahlonega Literary Festival  is scheduled for March 12 & 13, 2016 in historic downtown Dahlonega, GA. 

2016 Dahlonega Literary Festival featured authors include Karen Abbott, Jacob M. Appel, V.L. Brunskill, Jackie K. Cooper, Delilah S. Dawson, Molly Harper, Ann Hite, Joshilyn Jackson, Brian Panowich, Cherie Priest, M.J. Pullen and Jaye Wells.

This year’s festival will also present 25 Regional Writers including Michael K. Brown, Kelsey Browning, A.R. Cook, Ed DeVos, Jim Henninger, Kevin Horgan, Tim Link, Tinaz Pavri, Shelley Pickens, Tom Winton and many more.

Author discussion panels covering a variety of topics, RSVP lunch with authors at area restaurants and author book signing sessions are just a few of the festival’s highlights.

The Dahlonega Literary Festival, begun in 2004, celebrates books, writers, and literacy. This is an intimate festival about books and authors with a mission to promote interaction between readers and writers in a relaxed, informal environment. The organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit.

Festival events will occur at St. Luke’s Catholic Church and The Community House, located on North Park Street next to Dahlonega’s historic square.  All activities are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
