A large home in Flowery Branch was destroyed by fire Monday morning.
Hall County Fire Services Captain Zachary Brackett says the fire department got the call just before 5 a.m. and went to the burning home on Winding Rose Trail off Copper Creek Road, which is just off Union Church Road.
"No injuries have been reported," said Brackett. "The owners of the home had been reported to be out of town, but they have been contacted."
Brackett estimated the value of the home and its contents at $300,000.
He said the cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
