By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

An investigation continues with the Hall County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) following a deadly shooting in Flowery Branch early Monday morning.

Hall deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 3600 block of Osborne Road just after 6:45 a.m. on September 2, when a woman called 911 to report the shooting of a man inside the home.

Deputies arrived to find William Hargrove, 67, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Sheriff's Office spokesperson B.J. Williams says in a press release that he was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, deputies learned a second man, 33 years of age, who also lived at the residence, had been shot. That man had been transported to the hospital by a family member for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds. The injured subject remains hospitalized.

Williams says that man's identity is not being released at this time as the investigation is in the early stages and ongoing, as of this report.
