Comedian Katt Williams spent the night in the Hall County Jail Thursday, but he was released on a $500 bond after an appearance before Judge Elizabeth Reisman Friday morning, according to court officials.
Williams has been arrested three times in the last few weeks in Hall County; the most recent arrest involved a skirmish with a 17-year-old at Melrose Apartments on Davis Street in Gainesville. Both Williams and Luke Wash, who has been charged as an adult, were charged with disorderly conduct.
A court official said via email that a pre-trial hearing was waived and the disorderly conduct charge was sent to State Court for plea or trial. The statement said the entertainers will continue on his original conditional bond which includes reporting to Pretrial Services.
The Associated Press had reported that Williams was supposed to go to Louisiana this weekend for two performances. Yvette Shearer, who is handling publicity for Williams' "Conspiracy Theory 2016'' tour, said his Friday show in New Orleans is being rescheduled to May 6. His Saturday show in Bossier City, Louisiana, is being moved to April 30. She said all tickets will be honored on the new dates.
