By Associated Press

ROSWELL, Ga. (AP) Homicide charges are pending against a motorist who crashed into a bus stop in north Fulton County, striking three people and killing two.

Roswell police announced Wednesday that warrants were issued for Teresa Rains Fitzsimons on two counts of homicide by vehicle and three traffic violations stemming from the March 17 crash.

Roswell police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Holland told local media outlets that Fitzsimons was traveling behind a MARTA bus when she apparently swerved to avoid hitting the bus, striking three people who were waiting at the bus stop.

Police say 55-year-old Curtis Freeman of Roswell was killed at the scene, while 41-year-old Larsharon Clark of Columbus died at a hospital. The third victim, Elfego M. Solano-Vazquez, is recovering from his injuries.
