ATLANTA (AP) Authorities say the husband of a Georgia assistant attorney general has died after being shot at a northeast Atlanta stoplight.
Attorney General Sam Olens says the office is ``heartbroken'' by Shahriar Zolfaghari's death. Zolfaghari is the husband of Camila Wright, an assistant attorney general in Olens' office who focuses on human trafficking cases.
Media outlets report that a witness saw blood in Zolfaghari's vehicle after approaching the car when it didn't move on a green light at the intersection. Police were called to the scene around 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
Authorities say Zolfaghari was shot twice. Police haven't discussed a motive for the crime or made any arrests.
