CLEVELAND — After months of preparation the new Cleveland Care Center facility, a pregnancy resource center, is now open.
A community open house was held Saturday and the center's executive director, Kim Shadburn said the new building is beautiful and she is so thankful for everyone who pitched in to get it up and running.
The new facility, at 38 Campbell St., Cleveland, includes a medical clinic that offers free pregnancy tests and free ultrasounds, featuring a state-of-the-art machine.
According to Shadburn, the center, which has been open over 10 years, is a compassionate, non-judgmental pregnancy center that offers services to its clients free of charge.
In addition to the new clinic, Cleveland Care Center offers parenting classes and many resources found in the Baby Boutique.
One of the biggest needs the center has is for a new printer/copier.
The center is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 1-4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The phone number is (706) 219-1678.
