By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

A Chicopee man has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of his sister nearly a year ago.

Court documents show Bradley Holland, who had originally been charged with murder, entered his plea to the lesser charge Thursday in Hall County Superior Court.

Holland, 36, shot and killed Stacy Allison at a house on 3rd Street in Chicopee November 18, 2016, following an argument.

Judge Bonnie Chessher Oliver gave him a 25-year sentence, with the first 16 years to be served in prison and the rest on probation.
