Ligon named interim finance director for White County effective Nov. 20

_{CLEVELAND — White County Manager Michael Melton has announced the appointment of Jodi Ligon as interim finance director, effective Nov. 20.}

_{Ligon currently serves as accounting coordinator for the county, a role she has held for almost four years. Prior to being hired by White County in 2014, she worked for the Lumpkin County Finance Department for nine years.}

_{“We are extremely pleased to announce the promotion of Jodi Ligon and look forward to her continued contributions to our organization,” Melton said.}

_{Ligon’s promotion is a result of the forthcoming retirement announced by Finance Director Vicki Mays, effective in mid-November.}
